Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Accounting:
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Post journal entries and prepare trial balances.
Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, customer ledgers, and supplier ledgers.
Tax Compliance:
Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Support the preparation of income tax filings for clients.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Client Coordination:
Interact with clients to gather financial data and resolve queries.
Provide support in responding to auditor queries.
Administrative Support:
Maintain organized financial files and records, both physical and digital.
Assist senior accountants and managers in ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: CA Intermediate/ B. Com
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or Zoho Books).
Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax laws.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
