About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in core accounting activities, tax compliance, reconciliations, and working knowledge of financial systems. This role is critical in maintaining financial discipline and supporting the broader finance function in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger posting, invoicing, and expense booking.

• Prepare and maintain accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.

• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations regularly.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Compliance & Reporting

• Support in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory filings as per timelines.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.

• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial data.

Operational Support

• Prepare MIS reports such as aging summaries, outstanding reports, and cost tracking.

• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, HR, Procurement) for invoice validation and expense processing.

• Monitor and update customer billing cycles, renewals, and payment follow-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, or financial operations.

• Strong knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience working in a SaaS or tech-based organization.

• Exposure to revenue recognition or subscription-based billing.

• Knowledge of automation tools or financial dashboards.
