Job Summary:

The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing and processing the company’s payroll accurately and on time. This role includes verifying attendance, calculating salaries, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining payroll records, and coordinating with HR and Finance for smooth payroll operations. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent technical knowledge of payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing

• Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and within deadlines.

• Verify attendance, leaves, overtime, and incentive calculations.

• Prepare salary revisions, arrears, full & final settlements, and deductions.

• Maintain and update employee payroll data in the system.

Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory laws.

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.

• Coordinate with auditors for payroll-related queries.

Financial Coordination

• Reconcile payroll accounts with the finance team.

• Prepare monthly payroll reports, MIS, and cost analysis.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to manpower costs.

Employee Support

• Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payslips.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation data.

The minimum qualification for this role is B. Com with experience in Account.
