Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
Assist in payroll processing and related statutory compliances
Support internal and external audits by providing required documents
Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgets
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
CA Inter / CMA Inter / relevant certification preferred
0-1 years of experience in accounting or finance (as applicable)
Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
