Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or other accounting software.
Record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) deduction, deposit, and return filing.
Assist with Income Tax return (ITR) preparation for the company.
Ensure compliance with ROC filings and other MCA-related requirements (working with CA/legal team if needed).
Calculate and process monthly salaries, PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions.
Maintain payroll records and ensure timely deposits of contributions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements like P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support auditors during internal or statutory audits.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely payment to vendors and timely receipt from clients.
Generate and maintain invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
Track inventory and fixed assets, if applicable.
Record depreciation as per accounting standards.
Maintain proper documentation for all accounting records.
Coordinate with external auditors, CAs, and consultants for financial matters.
Stay updated with changes in accounting and tax laws.
B.Com/M.Com or CA Inter or equivalent.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and income tax.
