Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, bank reconciliation, cash & credit transactions.
Prepare sales, purchase, expense, and inventory-related accounting entries.
Ensure timely vendor and customer payments.
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Maintain documentation for input tax credit, HSN codes, and GST reconciliation.
Coordinate with CA for tax planning and audits.
Manage import-related accounting entries: LC payments, duty charges, freight, customs duty.
Track shipments, coordinate with CHA, maintain BOE (Bill of Entry) records.
Calculate landed cost, currency exchange impacts, and import expense allocation.
Manage costing of raw materials, semi-finished and finished food products.
Calculate production cost, wastage reports, and batch-level costing.
Work with the production team on daily consumption and inventory tracking.
Reconcile stock statements with store/warehouse.
Track purchase orders, GRNs, and stock valuation.
Prepare monthly inventory reports.
Prepare monthly financial statements—P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
Maintain aging reports: accounts payable & receivable.
Provide management with weekly/monthly MIS reports.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Maintain compliance records for FSSAI (for food industry if required).
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / ERP software.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and tax compliance.
Knowledge of import accounting (preferred for import industry roles).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reports).
Good communication and documentation skills.
