The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Maintain and update daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP or relevant software.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliation.
Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and balance sheets.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial summaries, P&L statements, and balance sheet schedules.
Support auditors during internal and external audits.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns.
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in processing monthly payroll.
Maintain attendance, deductions, reimbursements, and salary statements.
Generate MIS reports as required by management.
Highlight variances, trends, and financial insights.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Strong proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
