An Accountant manages a company's finances by recording transactions, preparing financial statements (like balance sheets, P&L), reconciling accounts, managing budgets, payroll, and tax filings, ensuring compliance with laws, and providing analysis to guide financial decisions for efficiency, cost savings, and growth, working with management, business leaders, team leaders, individual clients, and other business leaders. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording & Reconciliation: Accurate entry of all financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing general ledger.

• Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitoring budgets, cash flow, and forecasting future financial needs.

• Taxation: Computing taxes, preparing returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

• Analysis & Strategy: Analyzing financial data to identify risks, recommend cost-saving strategies, and support management decisions.

• Compliance: Ensuring all financial records meet local and international regulations, laws, and GAAP.

• Auditing: Conducting internal audits and ensuring accuracy of books and records.

• Payroll: Processing payroll and managing related tasks.
