Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who can independently manage complete accounting functions, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, ITR filing, and preparation of financial statements including P&L and Balance Sheet.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Maintain complete books of accounts (Day-to-day accounting)

Prepare Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements

Handle bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and journal entries

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Ensure accuracy of financial records and reports

GST Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, annual return)

Handle GST input tax credit reconciliation

Coordinate and respond to GST notices, if any

Ensure GST compliance as per latest laws

TDS & Statutory Compliance

Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS

File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)

Generate and issue Form 16 / 16A

Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act and other statutory requirements

Income Tax & Audit Support

Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the company

Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits

Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants

Maintain proper documentation for assessments and audits

Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports

Provide financial analysis and reports to management

Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

CA-Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance

Proficiency in Tally / Tally Prime, Excel, and accounting software

Good understanding of Indian taxation laws

Ability to work independently and handle pressure during deadlines
