About the role Act as the technical escalation point and infrastructure SME responsible for architecture design, OS upgrades, migrations, automation, and strategic capacity planning. As an Engineer III you will: Design & implement enterprise VMware clusters, HA/DR architectures Lead vCenter & ESXi version upgrades and lifecycle management Plan and execute guest OS upgrades (Windows/Linux) ensuring compatibility Lead large-scale migrations (P2V, V2V, DC migrations, cross-vCenter) Define rollback strategies & downtime planning for migrations Architect vSAN & storage performance optimization strategies Implement automation using PowerCLI & orchestration tools Conduct capacity planning & forecast infrastructure growth Provide mentorship & technical governance Provide L3 support for critical incidents and major outages What we’re looking for Azure IaaS (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers) Azure Stack HCI / Azure Arc knowledge Hybrid identity (Entra ID Connect, SSO) Azure Backup & Site Recovery Governance & cost optimization strategies OS & Migration Expertise Windows Server & Linux administration OS compatibility & patch lifecycle planning Migration methodology (assessment, execution, rollback) Performance benchmarking & validation Certifications (Preferred) What you can expect We’re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
