Role & responsibilities:

Basic Overview of Division:

Intertek's Hardlines Testing services enable retailers, brands and manufacturers of Toys, Furniture, Hard-Goods, Paper packaging to ensure the safety and quality of their products. Intertek performs hardline testing on items ranging from hardgoods samples to finished products. We help ensure our customers meet consumer demand for high quality, minimize reputational risk, reduce environmental impacts and protect the interests of retailers, brands, hardlines manufacturers and consumer safety.

The following product categories can be evaluated using Interteks hardlines Testing services:

• Furniture

• Toys

• Hardgoods

• Packaging

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits/inspections in manufacturing units across India.

• Assisting senior QE/Report Reviewer /Management team in any project assigned to the QE

• Follow AQL as reference criteria for quality audit/inspection.

• Maintaining records,data integrity and confidentiality.

• Follow documented standard operating procedure.

• Collect digitals so as to include in the final report prepared by Data Entry Operators

Travel Requirements:

• The job requires travel as the basic requirement - inspections are always to be conducted at the premises of the client / factory / offices / warehouses / stores / ports / container yards etc.

• Extensive travels by any mode (Bus / Train / Flight) will be involved in the routine jobs.

• At times, it will be required to travel on short notice to meet client's demand / Job requirements.

Professional Qualification:

Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Experience: Fresher/0-6 months of experience in inspection (Hardgoods)

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 0 - 1 years of experience.
