Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Head – NOC to lead 24x7 Network Operations for FTTH (Residential & SME) and Enterprise ISP services including Leased Lines, MPLS VPNs, and ILL. The role is responsible for network uptime, SLA compliance, incident management, regulatory readiness, and delivering high service quality across access, aggregation, and core networks.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations

• Lead 24x7 NOC monitoring of OLTs, ONTs, access/aggregation/core routers, MPLS/IP backbone, BNG/BRAS, firewalls, and DC connectivity

• Ensure proactive performance monitoring, capacity management, and high network availability

Incident & Problem Management

• Own end-to-end incident handling and escalation governance

• Drive MTTR improvements, RCA, and permanent fixes

• Coordinate with field teams, OEM TACs, fiber partners, and upstream ISPs

FTTH & Enterprise Service Assurance

• Monitor last-mile FTTH health, congestion, latency, packet loss

• Ensure strict SLA adherence for enterprise customers

• Handle major outages and customer escalations

Team & Process Leadership

• Lead NOC engineers, shift leads, and 24x7 roster planning

• Maintain SOPs, playbooks, and operational documentation

• Manage NMS/EMS, ticketing tools, SLA dashboards, and automation initiatives

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure DoT/TRAI compliance and lawful interception readiness

• Provide daily/weekly/monthly SLA and operations reports

Network Optimization

• Support capacity planning, redundancy design, and network upgrades

• Work with deployment and pre-sales teams on feasibility and provisioning

Required Skills

• Strong ISP network knowledge (FTTH + Enterprise)

• GPON/XPON, IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS

• Experience with OLT vendors & enterprise network gear

• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and outage handling skills

Qualifications

• BE/BTech (Telecom/Electronics/CS)

• 8–15 years in ISP/Telecom operations

• 3–6 years in NOC leadership

• CCNA/CCNP preferred

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 6+ years of experience.
