Job Title: Senior Network Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, security, performance, and scalability while leading troubleshooting efforts and supporting IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks

• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

• Manage network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls

• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

• Oversee network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates

• Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and failover systems

• Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and vendors

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audits

• Provide technical guidance to junior network engineers

• Support cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) if applicable

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar networking devices

• Expertise in firewall configuration and network security best practices

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)

• Experience with VPN technologies and remote access solutions

• Understanding of cloud networking concepts

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 6+ years of experience.
