Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining networking devices including switches, routers, and access points, as well as diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

 Configure and deploy Cisco/HP.

 Install and configure Wi-Fi Access Points (e.g.,Cambium,Aruba,IP Com).

 Perform basic and intermediate router configuration, including routing protocols and WAN interfaces.

 Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues, IP conflicts, and VLAN configuration problems.

 Implement network cabling and patch panel management where required.

 Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

 Maintain proper documentation of configurations and network diagrams.

 Apply firmware/software upgrades on network devices as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Basic to intermediate knowledge of switching (VLAN, trunking, STP) and routing (static/dynamic).

 Hands-on experience with Access Point deployment and wireless controller setup (preferred).

 Familiarity with IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT.

 Experience in using tools like ping, tracert, packet capture for troubleshooting.

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

 Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Certifications (any of the following):

 CCNA

 Basic certification in wireless networking
