We are seeking a skilled ELV Engineer to design, execute, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination of ELV systems in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and supervise installation of ELV systems including:
CCTV Surveillance Systems
Access Control Systems
Fire Alarm Systems (conventional & addressable)
Public Address (PA) Systems
Structured Cabling (LAN, WAN, Data & Voice)
Video Door Phones (VDP)
Building Management Systems (BMS) – coordination
Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and IT teams for seamless integration.
Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IS, NFPA, IEC, OEM guidelines).
Troubleshoot system faults and provide technical support.
Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
Prepare daily progress reports and as-built drawings.
Ensure safety, quality, and timely project execution.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of ELV systems and integration.
Hands-on experience with system installation and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, switches, routers).
Vendor coordination and technical documentation skills.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience:-
Experience in government, commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with major ELV brands and OEMs.
Experience in tender support and BOQ preparation (added advantage).
