About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Laptop Hardware Support Engineer to join our Field Operations team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops of multiple brands while providing excellent on-site customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit customer locations to diagnose and repair laptop hardware issues.
Troubleshoot laptops from leading brands such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Apple, and others.
Replace and repair hardware components including motherboards, LCDs, keyboards, batteries, hinges, SSDs/HDDs, RAM, charging ports, fans, and more.
Perform software installation, operating system installation, driver updates, and BIOS configuration when required.
Maintain accurate service reports and update job status on the company portal/mobile application.
Ensure timely call closures while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines during field visits.
Coordinate with the technical support and spare parts teams for issue resolution.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in laptop hardware repair and field support.
Good knowledge of laptop troubleshooting and component-level diagnostics.
Familiarity with Windows installation, drivers, BIOS, and basic networking.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to travel for on-site service calls.
Valid two-wheeler and driving license.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in servicing multiple laptop brands.
Ability to diagnose complex hardware faults independently.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Professional attitude with a customer-first approach.
