SJ Contracts Pvt Ltd is looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician to manage daily desktop support, local networking infrastructure, and peripheral maintenance. The ideal candidate will handle both hardware setup and on-site as well as Remote technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Desktop & Systems Support: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
2) Network Infrastructure: Perform LAN cable crimping (RJ-45), basic switch configuration, router setup, and manage Wi-Fi Access Points (APs). Coordinate with the ISP for smooth functioning of the Internet.
3) Surveillance & Peripherals: Monitor, check, configure and troubleshoot IP Cameras [should have exposure to CCTv Administration] and NVR CCTV systems.
4) Should be able to service and refill printers (ink/toner)••
5) Troubleshooting & Support: Deliver remote and on-site technical support, systematically diagnosing and resolving network/OS/application issues.
6) Physical Operations: Lift, transport, and deploy IT hardware and cabling equipment across the site as required. (Physical fitness for these tasks is mandatory)
7) Should have documentation skills - should we able to work on Cloud based office suites (Google docs/sheets // Zoho Writer/sheets)
Requirements / Qualifications:
1) Prior experience in IT Technical Support, Help-desk, or Network Maintenance.
2) Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, Access Points).
3) Experience managing CCTV (IP/NVR) hardware is preferred.
4) Strong instructions-following ability and client-focused communication skills.
