Job Description

An ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Project Engineer designs, installs, and manages low-voltage electrical systems like CCTV, fire alarms, and building networks.

They ensure these systems are completed on time, within budget, and working correctly in commercial or residential buildings.

Core ResponsibilitiesProject Management:

Track daily progress, create timelines, and handle project budgets.

System Design & Drawings: Draft technical layouts, cable schedules, and check specifications in AutoCAD.Testing &

Commissioning: Test systems like CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarms to ensure they work properly before handing them to clients.

Team Coordination: Manage site workers and talk with clients, builders, and contractors.Key ELV Systems HandledBuilding

Management Systems (BMS): Controls heating, cooling, and lighting.

Security Systems: Includes CCTV cameras, intruder alarms, and gates.Data Networks: Includes structured cabling, Wi-Fi, and internet routers.

Fire & Safety: Includes smoke detectors and emergency public address (PA) speakers.

Required QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation

Engineering.Skills: Knowledge of computer networks (IP) and software like AutoCAD or Revit.
