Job Description – IT Technician
Position: IT Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
Handle issues related to desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and other IT equipment.
Install and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
Troubleshoot CCTV connectivity, recording, and display issues.
Manage basic network, Wi-Fi, LAN, and internet-related issues.
Install and update required software, drivers, and antivirus.
Maintain proper records of IT assets, equipment, and repairs.
Manage filing and documentation related to IT equipment and maintenance.
Provide technical support to employees for day-to-day IT issues.
Coordinate with external vendors/service providers whenever required.
Ensure proper backup and basic data security practices.
Perform regular checking and maintenance of all IT systems and equipment.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Basic knowledge of CCTV installation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, networking, and internet troubleshooting.
Good filing and documentation management skills.
Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical problems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience:
IT/Computer-related qualification preferred.
4–6+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Practical knowledge of hardware, software, CCTV, and basic networking.
