Fiber Engineer – Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain & troubleshoot FTTH fiber networks.
Attend and resolve assigned Service Requests (SRs) within SLA.
Perform fiber splicing, testing & power level checks.
Conduct preventive maintenance of FATs, JCs, chambers & OH fiber.
Restore fiber cuts and network outages.
Patrol fiber routes and report authority-related work.
Maintain work reports, power readings & before/after photos.
Coordinate with NOC to ensure network uptime.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain tools properly.

Candidate Profile

Experience in FTTH / Fiber / Telecom field operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of fiber splicing, OTDR & power meter.
Good troubleshooting and field coordination skills.
Willingness to work in field locations.
