Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and common business applications.
- Manage user accounts, system permissions, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular system health checks.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, remote access, or onsite.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.
- Ensure data backup, antivirus updates, and adherence to IT security policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and email configuration.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and network cabling.
- Knowledge of printer installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
