ROLE: IT Hardware Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in server and network administration and troubleshooting a range of software and hardware issues. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure our IT systems run smoothly and support our product development team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

· Server and Workstation Maintenance:

o Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations across the organization.

o Perform regular system updates, backups, and performance monitoring.

· Networking and Security:

o Configure and manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs.

o Install and maintain Sophos Firewall for robust network security.

o Set up and configure network switches, VPN routers, and access points.

· System Administration:

o Perform OS and software installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

o Conduct hardware troubleshooting and replacement as needed.

o Implementing and managing secure system administration practices, including enforcing strong password policies, multi-factor authentication, and access control to ensure the safety and integrity of all IT systems.

· Active Directory and User Management:

o Manage Active Directory users, groups, and group policies.

o Create and manage business email accounts for employees.

· Software Configuration:

o Administer and troubleshoot ZOHO applications for business operations.

o Using scripting language create tools to automate IT Administration process

· Web page Development and maintenance:

o Designing, Monitoring and maintaining the technical infrastructure supporting web development, including servers, hosting, and networks.

Required Skills

· Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.

· Strong understanding of servers, networking, and IT infrastructure.

· Expertise in Azure cloud services (VMs, VNETs, VPNs).

· Knowledge of networking hardware such as firewalls, routers, and switches.

· Proficiency in administering Active Directory and group policies.

· Experience with tools like ZOHO and Microsoft office 365, Sophos Firewall, Remote Desktop Connection and VPN configuration.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues effectively.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for IT automation.

Tools and Technologies to Know:

· Cloud Services: Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNETs, VPNs)

· Networking: Sophos Firewall, network switches, VPN routers, Access points

· System Administration: Active Directory, ZOHO Suite and Microsoft office 365

Preferred Skills:

DevOps Exposure – Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), scripting, and infrastructure automation to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational excellence.

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience.
