Job Description (JD) – IT Hardware Engineer

Position: IT Hardware Engineer
Experience: Minimum 6 Months Experience
Location: The Monarch Enterprises
Department: Information Technology (IT)

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Hardware Engineer to manage and maintain computer systems, hardware devices, network equipment, and user support. The candidate should have basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, operating systems, networking, and IT support.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of computer systems.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
Install and update software applications as required.
Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Support employees with IT-related technical issues.
Manage hardware inventory and maintain asset records.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
Ensure data backup and basic security practices are followed.
Set up new user systems, email accounts, and peripherals.

Required Skills

Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
Basic networking knowledge (LAN , WAN, MAN , Wi-Fi, Router, Switch).
Familiarity with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
Understanding of printers, scanners, and office IT equipment.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of data backup and antivirus management.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Hardware & Networking, or related field.
Hardware & Networking certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 6 months of experience in IT Hardware Support, Desktop Support, or Hardware & Networking.

Working Days – Monday to Saturday

Timing – 9 am to 6 pm
