Job Title: IT Hardware Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Hardware Engineer responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware and related IT equipment. The role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of all hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop, laptop, workstation, and server hardware

• Diagnose and repair hardware faults in computers, printers, and peripherals

• Assemble, upgrade, and replace internal components (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, PSU)

• Perform preventive maintenance and hardware health checks

• Coordinate hardware deployment, relocation, and disposal

• Handle warranty, AMC, and vendor coordination

• Support OS installation and basic software configuration

• Troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, cabling)

• Maintain hardware inventory, asset tagging, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with IT safety and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in IT hardware support or engineering

• Strong knowledge of PC architecture and components

• Hands-on experience with hardware diagnostics and tools

• Familiarity with Windows OS installation and driver management

• Basic understanding of network cabling and devices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with servers and storage hardware

• Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI configuration

• Familiarity with UPS, power management, and rack systems

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Hardware+, or equivalent

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
