Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Laptop/Desktop Hardware and Networking Technician/Engineer to install, maintain, and repair computer systems, related hardware, and network infrastructure. The candidate should be able to diagnose hardware and network issues, perform upgrades, configure network devices, and provide technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, peripherals, and network devices (routers, switches, access points).
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Replace faulty components such as RAM, hard drives, SSDs, motherboards, power supplies, keyboards, and screens.
Install and update operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and network performance optimization.
Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP addressing schemes.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security measures.
Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Maintain records of repairs, replacements, inventory of spare parts, and network configurations.
Ensure systems and networks are protected with security updates, firewalls, and antivirus tools.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with desktop, laptop, and peripheral maintenance.
Knowledge of operating systems installation, configuration, and updates.
Familiarity with networking concepts: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP configuration, switches, and routers.
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Good problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
