Job Description

CCTV / Hardware, Networking & Project Engineer – Short Job Description

  • Location: Wazirpur Industrial Area | Employment: Full-Time, Site/Project Based

  • Experience: 2–6 years in CCTV, networking, ELV, security systems, embedded systems, or related fields.

  • Responsible for installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of CCTV and electronic security systems.

  • Hands-on experience with IP CCTV cameras, NVR/VMS, PTZ cameras, PoE switches, storage and control-room systems.

  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing and network troubleshooting.

  • Experience in fibre-optic installation, termination, splicing and testing, including OTDR, OPM, VFL, ODF/LIU and SFPs.

  • Basic knowledge of embedded electronics, hardware troubleshooting, RS-232/RS-485, UART, USB and Ethernet interfaces.

  • Experience with HHMD, DFMD, access control, biometric systems, RFID, boom barriers, intercoms and security alarms.

  • Capable of handling projects end-to-end, from site survey and installation planning to testing, commissioning and handover.

  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, technicians, contractors and vendors/OEMs.

  • Prepare BOQ, project schedules, test reports, snag lists, as-built drawings and handover documentation.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting, client-handling, team supervision and project coordination skills.

  • Qualification: Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Computer Science, Networking, Instrumentation or related field.

  • Preferred: CCNA/CCTV/Fiber Optics/security-system certifications, driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
