Job Summary
An IT Hardware Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, network devices, and IT infrastructure within an organization. The role ensures that all hardware systems operate efficiently and support business operations without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware devices.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and basic network issues.
Repair or replace hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, motherboards, and power supplies.
Install and configure operating systems such as Windows or Linux.
Set up and maintain basic networking (LAN, IP configuration, routers, switches).
Provide technical support to employees for hardware-related issues.
Monitor system performance and ensure proper functioning of hardware.
Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware documentation.
Ensure regular system updates, backups, and security compliance.
Required Skills
