Resident Hardware Engineer
We are seeking a versatile Resident Hardware Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with our core team to deliver high-quality IT support, manage assets, and drive operational productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Handling: Act as the resident engineer for client-facing technical support.
Laptop Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laptop hardware issues.
Asset Management: Perform laptop scavenging, part extraction, and thorough equipment cleaning.
Inventory Control: Manage parts, monitor stock levels, and track assets accurately.
Vendor Relations: Coordinate with local IT markets and vendors to source components.
Reporting: Maintain clear documentation and send daily updates via email reports.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to improve daily productivity.
Requirements
Strong technical knowledge of IT parts, laptop hardware, and components.
Proven experience in hardware repair, assembly, and component scavenging.
Familiarity with local IT markets and vendor sourcing.
Excellent communication skills for customer handling and email reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
