A specialized Service Engineer for printers and scanners is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various imaging devices, including laser, inkjet, multifunction printers (MFPs), thermal barcode printers, and scanners. provide both on-site and remote technical support to minimize downtime for corporate and industrial clients.
Core Responsibilities
· Diagnose & Repair: Fixing hardware failures such as paper jams, motor failures, sensor issues, and power supply failures.
· Component Level Repair: Repairing PCB boards, fuser units, and print heads.
· Preventive Maintenance (AMC): Conducting routine servicing, cleaning, and calibration to prevent future failures.
· Installation & Configuration: Setting up printers and scanners, including driver installation, networking, and LAN/Wi-Fi setup.
· Software Troubleshooting: Updating firmware and solving driver/firmware compatibility issues.
· Brands Serviced: Extensive experience with HP, Canon, Xerox, Epson, Brother, Ricoh, and Kyocera devices.
Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, and good communication skills.
