Job Description

Junnar Sugar Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled IT professional with strong hands-on experience in software systems, hardware infrastructure, networking, and plant-level IT support. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of IT systems across the Surat Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Software & Systems

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of ERP systems, plant MIS, and accounting software

Support for Windows OS, MS Office, email systems, and third-party applications

Database handling, backups, and data security management

Coordination with software vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and AMC

User access control, software licensing, and compliance

Hardware & Networking

Maintenance of servers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, CCTV, biometric systems

LAN/WAN setup, troubleshooting, switch & router configuration

Internet, firewall, VPN, and cybersecurity management

Data backup systems (local & cloud) and disaster recovery planning

Plant & Industrial IT Support

IT support for weighbridge systems, PLC/SCADA interfaces, automation panels, and plant control systems

Coordination with electrical/instrumentation teams for IT-related plant equipment

Troubleshooting IT issues related to production, sugar process, and utilities

General Responsibilities

Daily IT helpdesk support for plant and office staff

Documentation of IT assets, network diagrams, and SOPs

Ensuring minimum downtime and quick resolution of IT issues

Cybersecurity awareness and policy implementation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / MCA / BCA

Certifications in Networking, Hardware, Cybersecurity, or ERP preferred

Experience

3–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial / manufacturing plant IT environment

Experience in sugar industry or process industry will be an added advantage

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of software applications & ERP systems

Expertise in computer hardware, networking, and server management

Basic understanding of PLC/SCADA connectivity

Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure

Good communication and coordination skills

Plant Head / Corporate IT Head

As per industry standards and experience
