Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Hardware Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware, system assembly, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, and supporting high-performance systems including videowall controllers and related IT hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure desktop/workstation/server systems as per technical specifications

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux) and required drivers

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues (motherboard, RAM, SSD, GPU, PSU, etc.)

• Conduct hardware stress testing and performance validation

• Install and support graphic cards, capture cards, and HDMI/Display output boards

• Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks

• Handle basic networking setup (IP configuration, LAN troubleshooting)

• Provide on-site installation and technical support when required

• Maintain documentation of hardware configurations and test reports

• Coordinate with procurement team for hardware compatibility and component selection

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PC hardware components

• Hands-on experience with system assembling and troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Windows OS installation and driver management

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, switches)

• Familiarity with GPUs, RAID configurations, and storage systems

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and stress testing software

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in videowall controllers or AV systems

• Knowledge of HDMI, DisplayPort, EDID, HDCP concepts

• Understanding of rack-mounted servers and industrial chassis

• Basic knowledge of Linux

• Willingness to travel for site installations

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or related field
