We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented IT Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and hardware upgrades.
Install and configure operating systems and application software.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
Manage hardware inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related queries.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, and warranty claims.
Ensure data security and compliance with company IT policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in IT hardware support (Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, Windows OS, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with LAN/WAN, printers, routers, and basic server administration.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage.
