Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Laptop/Desktop Hardware Engineer to diagnose, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, and related IT hardware. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware issues and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair laptop and desktop hardware issues.
Troubleshoot motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, display, keyboard, and other component failures.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software.
Assemble and configure desktop systems.
Replace faulty hardware components and perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot printer, network, and peripheral device issues.
Maintain service records and prepare repair reports.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Ensure timely closure of service requests and tickets.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
Experience in motherboard-level diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of Windows OS installation and configuration.
Understanding of networking basics (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with BIOS configuration and system diagnostics.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Qualification
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Relevant hardware certifications are an added advantage.
