Roles & Responsibilities

• Installation & Configuration

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment

• Perform site surveys and recommend optimal camera placement

• Ensure proper cabling (Cat6, fiber) and power connectivity

System Commissioning

• Configure IP addresses, VMS software, and recording settings

• Integrate CCTV systems with access control and alarms

• Test system performance and ensure compliance with specifications

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues

• Perform preventive maintenance checks

• Replace faulty components and upgrade firmware

Networking & Integration

• Configure network connectivity for remote surveillance

• Ensure secure access (VPN, port forwarding)

• Integrate with third-party systems (BMS, fire alarms)

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain installation and maintenance records

• Prepare site reports and technical documentation

• Provide user training and handover documentation

Client & Vendor Coordination

• Work with clients for requirement gathering

• Coordinate with vendors for equipment and support

• Ensure SLA adherence
