Job Description

An ISP Field Engineer (Internet Service Provider Field Engineer) installs, maintains, and troubleshoots telecom infrastructure like fiber/wireless networks, routers, and power systems at customer sites and network points (POPs), ensuring service delivery for broadband, SD-WAN, etc., requiring strong technical skills in fiber optics, IP, and site maintenance, plus good soft skills for coordination and customer service, often involving hands-on work with equipment and ticket resolution to meet SLAs

Installation & Configuration: Setting up fiber, RF links, routers, switches, OLT/ONT devices.
Maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance on active network elements, power backups (DG, UPS, batteries).
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving network issues (fiber cuts, connectivity problems).
Service Delivery: Ensuring uptime and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for various services (ILL, MPLS, SD-WAN).
Field Operations: Managing site activities, ticket closure, and coordination with partners.
Documentation: Maintaining records and reports.
