Desktop Support Engineer
6+ months to a few years of experience and offers a monthly (CTC) around ₹20,000.
The position requires foundational technical troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and strong end-user support.

Core Job Responsibilities
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
OS & Software Management: Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux). Deploy standard business applications and software patches.
IT Asset Management: Track, maintain, and configure technology inventory. Prepare systems for new joiners (user onboarding and system imaging).
End-User Support: Provide prompt, courteous assistance via phone, ticketing systems, remote-desktop tools, and in-person.
Ticket Logging: Document technical issues and resolutions clearly in the company's ticketing/helpdesk system.
Network & Peripheral Support: Assist with printer configurations, internet connectivity issues, VPN setup, and basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 6 months of relevant desktop support or IT helpdesk experience.
Technical Aptitude: Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, and hardware diagnostics.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
