Job Summary
We are looking for a technically skilled and responsible Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user IT support and handle desktop, laptop, network, printer, CCTV, and basic IT infrastructure-related activities. The candidate should be comfortable with troubleshooting, onsite support, installations, preventive maintenance, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop & End-User Support
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops and laptops.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
Install and configure Windows OS, drivers, antivirus, and standard business applications.
Troubleshoot system performance, boot, login, and peripheral-related issues.
Provide remote and onsite technical support to users.
Perform preventive maintenance and health checks of IT systems.
Network & IT Infrastructure Support
Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and Internet connectivity issues.
Configure IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and basic network settings.
Troubleshoot network points, patch cords, switches, routers, and access points.
Perform basic structured cabling, I/O termination, patching, and rack-related work.
Coordinate with senior network engineers for advanced network issues.
CCTV Installation & Support
Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP and Analog CCTV cameras.
Handle DVR/NVR installation and configuration.
Configure camera IP addresses, recording schedules, storage, and remote viewing.
Troubleshoot camera offline, no-video, recording, playback, and connectivity issues.
Perform CCTV camera mounting, alignment, testing, and basic cabling work.
Check HDD/storage health and recording status.
Configure CCTV access on desktop and mobile applications.
Conduct preventive maintenance and health checks of CCTV systems.
