Hardware & Software Support

Workstation Setup: Configure and provision desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for new hires.
OS & Software Deployment: Install, update, and patch operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business applications.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions, replace faulty components, and resolve software conflicts. [1, 2, 3]

2. Network & Peripheral Management

Connectivity Issues: Resolve problems related to LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and DNS configurations.
Peripherals: Install and maintain printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and audiovisual equipment (like Zoom/Teams meeting rooms). [1, 2, 3]

3. User Assistance & Ticketing

Ticketing Operations: Monitor and manage incoming IT requests through ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
