We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer with strong expertise in Hardware and Networking to provide end-to-end IT support for users and infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting desktops and peripherals, managing network connectivity, and ensuring reliable IT operations across the organization.
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and business applications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues
Support user accounts, email, and access management (Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
Handle onboarding and offboarding (system setup, access provisioning)
Respond to support tickets and resolve issues within defined SLAs
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Assemble, upgrade, and repair desktop and laptop hardware components
Diagnose and replace faulty components (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, power supply)
Perform system imaging, backups, and data recovery
Coordinate with vendors for warranty and hardware replacements
Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network cabling
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (switches, routers, firewalls, access points)
Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
Configure IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
Support VPN connectivity and basic network security practices
Assist in network upgrades and infrastructure projects
Proven experience in Desktop Support, Hardware Engineer, or Network Support roles
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft
Experience with endpoint management tools (SCCM, Intune, JAMF)
Knowledge of basic cybersecurity best practices
