Computer Operator

Job Summary

The Computer Operator supports daily corporate operations by managing data entry, documentation, reporting, and system-based tasks. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of information related to sales, inventory, logistics, and administrative activities. The position is crucial for maintaining smooth backend operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Entry & Documentation

• Enter daily sales, inventory, GRN, and dispatch data into ERP/CRM systems.

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchase orders, and invoices.

• Prepare and update daily MIS reports for management.

• Ensure timely uploading of distributor and outlet performance data.

2. System Operations

• Operate ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or company-specific systems).

• Generate automated reports for sales, stock, and supply chain teams.

• Perform data validation to ensure correctness and completeness.

• Coordinate with IT team for system issues or access requests.

3. Coordination & Support

• Support Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Finance teams with required data.

• Communicate with distributors, vendors, and field sales staff regarding documentation.

• Assist with preparing presentations, dashboards, and business summaries.

4. Administrative Support

• Manage email communication and file management.

• Prepare letters, memos, and internal communication documents.

• Handle printing, scanning, and documentation for audits and compliance.

5. Compliance & Reporting

• Maintain confidentiality of company data and documents.

• Follow internal SOPs related to documentation, inventory, and finance.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual audits through accurate record keeping.

Skills & Competencies

• Fast and accurate typing; strong data entry skills with mailing.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.

• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and time management.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 6 months - 6 years of experience.
