Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, troubleshoot, maintain computer systems (desktops, laptops), printers, monitors, etc.

• Diagnose / repair hardware issues (motherboards, RAM, storage devices, power supply, peripherals).

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux) and standard software.

• Maintain & configure networking equipment: routers, switches, LAN/WAN, WiFi setup etc.

• Setup and maintain surveillance / CCTV systems (if required by company).

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (cleaning hardware, checking connections, cabling) to reduce downtime.

• Document hardware inventory, maintenance logs, repair histories.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.

• Ensure security measures are in place (antivirus, backups, access control).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware components & how they work.

• Familiarity with networks: basic LAN/WAN, routers/switches, cabling.

• Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues.

• Basic OS installation, drivers, BIOS/UEFI.

• Good communication skills. Able to work with users to understand problems.

• Ability to work under guidance and follow instructions. Good with tools, hands-on work.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.

• Certifications: CompTIA A+ / Network+ / CCNA or equivalent.

• Experience with CCTV / surveillance systems.

• Some knowledge of embedded systems or IoT hardware.

• Good documentation skills.

Other Details

• Probable working days: 6 days/week (or as per company policy).

• Reporting to: IT or Operations Manager, or relevant supervisor.

• Benefits: may include PF, ESIC, bus / conveyance, bonus depending on company.
