Computer Hardware Engineer

LAPTOP & DESKTOP REPAIR TECHNICIAN – FIELD SERVICE

We are looking for skilled and experienced Laptop & Desktop Repair Technicians for HP and Dell systems. The technician will be responsible for both workshop and field-service jobs, including customer-site visits.

Key Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in HP & Dell Laptop and Desktop repair

• Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis

• Laptop/Desktop motherboard troubleshooting and component-level repair

• Knowledge of SMPS, RAM, HDD/SSD, CPU, motherboard and power-related issues

• Laptop display, keyboard, touchpad, battery, charging and DC jack replacement/repair

• Experience in Windows installation, formatting and software troubleshooting

• Driver installation, BIOS configuration and system optimization

• Data backup, OS installation and basic data recovery knowledge

• Troubleshooting of boot failure, blue screen, overheating, no display and power issues

• Printer, networking and peripheral troubleshooting will be an added advantage

• Ability to diagnose problems and provide appropriate repair solutions at customer locations

• Good communication and customer-handling skills

• Ability to prepare service reports and explain repair requirements to customers

Mandatory Requirement

🏍️ Own Bike/Two-Wheeler is MANDATORY

The technician must have their own bike/two-wheeler and valid driving licence because the job involves regular field visits to customer locations.

Preferred Experience

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in laptop & desktop repair

• Experience with HP and Dell systems preferred

• Candidates with strong practical repair skills and field-service experience will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites for laptop/desktop service calls

• Diagnose and repair HP & Dell systems

• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting

• Replace defective components and parts

• Maintain service records and job reports

• Coordinate with the service team regarding field assignments

• Ensure professional customer service and timely completion of service calls
