Job Description (JD) – CCTV & Fire Alarm Installation Technician

Job Title: CCTV & Fire Alarm Installation / Commissioning Technician
Location: Gopal Nagar, Mukund Nagar, Ghaziabad – 201001
Experience: 6 Months – 1 Year
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Install CCTV cameras, DVR, NVR, IP cameras, and related security systems.

• Install fire alarm systems including smoke detectors, heat detectors, hooters, MCPs, and control panels.

• Perform commissioning, testing, configuration, and programming of CCTV and fire alarm systems.

• Carry out cable laying, conduit/trunking work, wiring, crimping, routing, and terminations.

• Troubleshoot faults in CCTV systems, fire alarm panels, detectors, networking, and field devices.

• Ensure systems are installed as per site drawings, safety standards, and client requirements.

• Configure recording setup, remote viewing, and networking for CCTV systems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance, servicing, and routine inspections.

• Test systems after installation and hand over to client successfully.

• Maintain installation reports, service reports, and documentation.

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams for timely completion of work.

• Travel to client sites for installation, maintenance, and service support.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and fire alarm systems.

• Understanding of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.

• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, router setup, remote access).

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and cable management.

• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and layouts.

• Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

• Ability to handle electrical tools and installation equipment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to travel for site work.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass / Relevant Technical Background.

Preferred Candidate:

• 6 months to 1-year hands-on experience in CCTV and fire alarm installation & commissioning.

• Basic knowledge of brands like Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, Agni, Ravel, etc.

• Candidate should be hardworking, disciplined, and ready to work on field projects.

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
