Job Description

Migrantrix Private Limited is looking for a hands-on Website Developer & Digital Operations Executive to manage website development, maintenance, integrations, and SEO activities across our business operations.

The selected candidate will work primarily on Migrantrix's existing website and upcoming web projects, while also handling website development and maintenance for our retail jewellery brand, Zevar by Kinjal.

We are looking for someone with practical experience in creating and managing websites, implementing integrations, improving website performance, and handling routine technical operations independently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on different website projects, solving technical problems, and taking ownership of website development from planning to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Development & Management

• Develop new websites, web pages, landing pages, and website features.

• Manage, update, and maintain existing websites using platforms such as Wix and WordPress.

• Create responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-friendly website layouts.

• Customise website themes, templates, page builders, and plugins as required.

• Manage website content, images, forms, service pages, and product listings.

• Handle website troubleshooting, updates, backups, and routine maintenance.

• Manage domains, hosting, DNS settings, SSL certificates, and related technical requirements.

2. Website Development for Migrantrix Private Limited

• Maintain and improve the existing company website.

• Develop service pages and landing pages for the company's various offerings.

• Implement enquiry forms, WhatsApp integrations, payment gateways, and other website functionalities.

• Set up and troubleshoot Razorpay and other third-party integrations.

• Configure website analytics, conversion tracking, and lead capture systems.

• Work on technical improvements and SEO implementation.

• Assist in developing an international job portal, including job listings, search functionality, subscription features, and other requirements as the project progresses.

3. Website Development for Zevar by Kinjal

• Develop and maintain a professional website for the retail jewellery brand.

• Create product catalogue pages, jewellery categories, and collection pages.

• Add product photographs, descriptions, prices, and promotional banners.

• Integrate WhatsApp for customer enquiries and product orders.

• Integrate Instagram and other relevant digital channels.

• Add store location, contact information, and other essential business details.

• Implement basic SEO and improve the website's visibility in local search results.

• Maintain product listings and update website content as required.

• Assist with future e-commerce functionality as the business expands.

4. SEO & Website Optimisation

• Implement on-page SEO, including meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.

• Work on technical SEO, indexing, XML sitemaps, and website structure.

• Use Google Search Console to monitor indexing and identify technical issues.

• Conduct basic keyword research and optimise website pages.

• Improve website loading speed, mobile usability, and overall performance.

• Implement basic schema markup and structured data where required.

5. Website Integrations & Digital Tools

• Integrate payment gateways, enquiry forms, contact forms, and WhatsApp.

• Configure Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel.

• Connect websites with Google Sheets, email services, and other third-party tools.

• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure that website leads are captured correctly.

• Test website forms, payment workflows, and conversion tracking.

• Maintain proper website backups and follow basic security practices.

6. Technical Support & Project Coordination

• Identify website-related issues and implement appropriate solutions.

• Research suitable tools, plugins, and technologies for business requirements.

• Coordinate with management to understand website requirements and development priorities.

• Maintain proper documentation of website changes, integrations, and technical configurations.

• Manage multiple website projects and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

• Recommend practical improvements to website functionality, performance, and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma holder in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field. Candidates with relevant practical experience may also apply.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in website development and management.

• Practical experience with WordPress and/or Wix.

• Good understanding of website development, page builders, themes, templates, and responsive design.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

• Understanding of on-page SEO and technical SEO fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

• Knowledge of website domains, hosting, DNS, SSL, and backups.

• Experience integrating forms, payment gateways, WhatsApp, and third-party applications.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and manage different website projects.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Razorpay or other payment gateway integrations.

• Website analytics and conversion tracking.

• APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

• Dynamic websites, job portals, membership systems, or subscription platforms.

• E-commerce websites and online product catalogues.

• Website speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals.

• Basic UI/UX design and website graphics.

• Google Business Profile and local SEO.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for a practical, technically capable individual who can independently manage website-related tasks across two growing businesses.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable creating websites, maintaining existing platforms, integrating digital tools, implementing SEO, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Candidates who have personally developed or managed live websites will be preferred.

Applicants must be able to share links to websites they have developed or managed and explain their individual contribution to those projects.
