Job Title: Product Designer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Product Designer with experience in sheet metal furniture design. The candidate will be responsible for designing functional, durable, and aesthetically appealing furniture products using sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities:
Design sheet metal furniture products (tables, cabinets, racks, etc.)
Create 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar tools
Prepare technical drawings, dimensions, and production-ready files
Work closely with the production and fabrication team
Ensure designs are cost-effective and easy to manufacture
Modify designs based on feedback and requirements
Maintain quality and design standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical / Product Design or related field
Experience in sheet metal design (must have)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software
Understanding of bending, cutting, welding processes
Knowledge of material selection and fabrication techniques
Strong problem-solving and practical design skills
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years in sheet metal furniture design
Preferred:
Experience in furniture or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of CNC machines / laser cutting
Ability to coordinate with vendors and factory teams
