About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and technically strong Motion Graphics Designer with 4–5 years of professional experience to join our creative team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of motion design, video editing, visual effects, compositing, and post-production, along with a genuine interest in leveraging AI tools for video and content generation.

You should be someone who can take an idea from concept to final output — developing visual concepts, creating animations, editing footage, incorporating VFX, experimenting with AI-generated assets, and delivering polished content across digital and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, video content, and visual compositions for digital, social, marketing, advertising, and branded content.

• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas from storyboard/concept stage through final delivery.

• Handle end-to-end video editing and post-production, including cuts, transitions, pacing, sound design, colour correction, compositing, and finishing.

• Create 2D/3D motion graphics, kinetic typography, title animations, logo animations, explainers, product animations, and social-first content.

• Work on VFX and compositing, including green-screen/keying, tracking, rotoscoping, masking, cleanup, screen replacement, compositing, and visual enhancements.

• Use AI-powered creative tools to generate and enhance video, images, motion assets, backgrounds, concepts, storyboards, and other visual content.

• Experiment with emerging generative AI tools and workflows to improve creative output, speed, and production efficiency.

• Integrate AI-generated assets seamlessly into professional video and motion-graphics workflows.

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, copywriters, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to translate briefs into compelling visual content.

• Adapt content into multiple formats, aspect ratios, durations, and platform specifications for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, advertising platforms, presentations, etc.

• Maintain strong visual quality and consistency across all deliverables.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

• Stay updated with emerging motion design, VFX, video-production, and generative AI trends and tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years of professional experience in Motion Graphics, Video Design, Animation, VFX, or a closely related creative role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, video editing, animation, VFX, and post-production work.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Strong understanding of motion principles, timing, composition, typography, transitions, colour, and visual storytelling.

• Experience with compositing, tracking, keying, masking, rotoscoping, and VFX workflows.

• Knowledge of 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar is an advantage.

• Experience using AI/generative AI tools for video and visual content creation.

• Ability to combine traditional creative tools with AI-assisted production workflows.

• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, frame rates, and platform-specific deliverables.

• Good sense of design aesthetics, storytelling, pacing, and current visual trends.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.

AI Skills — Strongly Preferred

Hands-on experience with AI tools for:

• Text-to-video / image-to-video generation

• AI-assisted video editing and enhancement

• Generative image creation and asset development

• AI voiceover, dubbing, lip-sync, and audio generation

• AI-based background/object generation and replacement

• Image/video upscaling and restoration

• AI-assisted rotoscoping, masking, tracking, and compositing

• Rapid prototyping and concept development

Candidates who actively experiment with new generative AI video and creative tools and can demonstrate practical applications in their portfolio will be preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience in 3D animation and motion design

• Knowledge of Blender / Cinema 4D / Unreal Engine

• Basic sound design and audio editing skills

• Experience creating content for brands, advertising, social media, or digital platforms

• Understanding of colour grading workflows

• Experience working with green-screen footage and studio shoots

• Ability to create storyboards and visual treatments

• Experience working with AI-generated video while maintaining professional production quality
