Artwork Preparation

• Create and modify print-ready files (CDR, AI, PDF)

• Adjust layouts as per dieline / carton size / specifications

• Ensure proper alignment, margins, and bleed settings

Prepress File Checking

• Verify customer artwork for:

o Size & dimensions

o Color mode (CMYK / Pantone)

o Fonts (outlined / embedded)

o Image resolution (300 DPI)

• Identify and correct errors before production

Print Readiness

• Prepare files for:

o Offset printing

o Digital printing

• Apply trapping, overprint, and color corrections if required

• Generate separations (CMYK / Spot colors)

Carton & Packaging Design Alignment

• Work with dielines for mono cartons / Spl. boxes

• Ensure accurate folding, cutting, and glue areas

• Maintain structural integrity of packaging

Coordination

• Coordinate with:

o Planning team

o Production team

• Clarify artwork issues with clients if needed

Quality Control

• Ensure zero-error output before plate making

• Maintain version control of artwork files
