Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer / Circuit Designer / Electronics Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing high-quality PCBs and electronic circuits while ensuring compliance with IEC standards. They should be proficient in Altium & Protel 2.8, capable of differentiating between power tracks and signal tracks, and familiar with CAM software.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Design and develop PCB layouts for complex electronic systems using Altium Designer andProtel 2.8, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.

•      Differentiate between power tracks and signal tracks, optimizing layouts for EMI / EMCcompliance, thermal management, and signal integrity.

•      Create, update, and maintain a centralized components library for streamlined design processes and version control.

•      Collaborate with manufacturing teams to generate CAM-ready files (Gerber, ODB++, etc.) and resolve design-for-manufacturability (DFM) issues.

•      Ensure all designs comply with IEC standards and industry-specific regulatory requirements.

•      Work closely with hardware engineers and our experienced R&D teams to translate schematics into functional PCB designs.

•      Conduct design reviews, simulations, and prototyping to validate performance and reliability.

•      Stay updated on emerging PCB design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

•      Experience: 3+ years in PCB / Circuit design, preferably in industrial or high-power electronics.

•      Education: Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

•      Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Altium Designer & Protel 2.8 (mandatory), and also CAM software (CAM350).

•      Technical Knowledge:

1. Deep understanding of power vs. signal track design principles.

2. Familiarity with IEC standards and industry certifications.

3. Ability to manage component libraries and BOMs.

4. Experience in CAM software for PCB validation.

5. Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit design principles.

•      Attention to Detail: Ability to create error-free, optimized, and manufacturable PCB layouts.

•      Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot design-related issues and suggest improvements.

•      Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
