Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media Manager cum Graphic Designer who can independently manage day-to-day social media activities and create visually appealing, professional, and engaging graphics for Holiday Professor.
The ideal candidate should understand social media trends, have strong graphic design skills, and be able to convert travel-related ideas into attractive posts, carousels, stories, and promotional creatives.
This role requires both creative thinking and hands-on execution.
You will be responsible for planning content, designing creatives, managing social media platforms, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and helping grow the Holiday Professor brand online.
Key Responsibilities
A. Social Media Management
Manage Holiday Professor's Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant social media platforms.
Plan and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
Schedule and publish posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels.
Research trending topics, memes, audio, and travel-related content ideas.
Develop engaging content around travel, destinations, holiday packages, travel tips, and customer awareness.
Write or coordinate captions, hashtags, and post descriptions.
Maintain consistency in brand voice, colours, fonts, and overall presentation.
Monitor comments, messages, and basic audience engagement.
Track page growth, reach, impressions, engagement, and content performance.
Prepare basic weekly or monthly social media reports.
B. Graphic Design
Create professional and engaging visual content for:
Instagram posts
Instagram carousels
Instagram Stories
Reels covers
Facebook posts
WhatsApp promotional creatives
Holiday package posters
Destination guides
Travel tips and infographics
Festival and seasonal campaigns
Promotional banners
Blog featured images
YouTube thumbnails
Advertisements and campaign creatives
The candidate should be able to convert a brief into a clean, attractive, and publish-ready design.
C. Travel Marketing Creatives
Create content related to:
Domestic and international holiday packages
Destination promotions
Honeymoon packages
Family holidays
Group departures
Budget travel
Visa-related awareness
Travel tips and hacks
Destination comparisons
Cost breakdowns
Travel myths
Festival offers and seasonal campaigns
The candidate should understand how to make travel content informative, engaging, and visually appealing without relying only on generic promotional designs.
D. Reels & Short-Form Content Support
Create or edit basic Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Design Reel covers and supporting graphics.
Add text overlays, captions, transitions, and music where appropriate.
Repurpose existing content into different formats.
Assist in creating trend-based travel content and meme-style posts.
Coordinate with the content creator or on-camera talent when required.
Note: Advanced video production is not mandatory, but basic Reel editing is preferred.
E. Content Planning & Execution
Work with the content calendar and approved content briefs.
Coordinate with the blog/content team.
Convert blog topics into social media posts.
Prepare creatives according to platform requirements.
Organize editable design files and final media files.
Ensure all content is reviewed before publishing.
Meet weekly content deadlines.
5. Required Skills
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles.
Good understanding of Instagram and Facebook.
Ability to create attractive and professional social media creatives.
Strong Canva skills.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is an advantage.
Basic video editing skills.
Understanding of social media trends.
Good visual sense and attention to detail.
Basic copywriting and caption-writing ability.
Ability to maintain brand consistency.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
