1. Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating attractive, creative and brand-consistent visual content for cakes, bakery products, stores, promotions, social media, packaging, marketing campaigns and internal communication.

The candidate should have a good understanding of food/bakery product presentation, branding, promotional creatives and digital marketing requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Product & Marketing Creatives

• Design creative promotional materials for cakes, pastries, patties, cookies, dry cakes and other bakery products.

• Create product posters, banners, flyers, standees, brochures and promotional materials.

• Design creatives for new product launches, offers, discounts and seasonal campaigns.

• Develop attractive creatives for festivals and special occasions such as Puja, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.

• Prepare store-wise and product-wise promotional creatives as required.

B. Social Media & Digital Content

• Design posts, stories, reels covers and promotional creatives for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

• Create engaging visuals for online sales and digital marketing campaigns.

• Coordinate with the Marketing/Online Sales team for campaign requirements.

• Resize and adapt designs according to different social media platforms.

• Maintain consistency in brand colours, fonts, logos and visual identity.

C. Packaging & Printing Materials

• Design and modify packaging artwork, labels, stickers and product tags.

• Prepare artwork for cake boxes, bakery boxes, pouches, wrappers and other packaging materials.

• Create designs for menu cards, price lists and product catalogues.

• Prepare print-ready files according to required size, specifications and printing standards.

• Coordinate with vendors/printers for artwork corrections and printing requirements.

D. Cake & Bakery Product Presentation

• Work closely with the Production, R&D, QC and Marketing teams for product presentation.

• Create visual concepts for new cake and bakery products.

• Edit product photographs to improve presentation while maintaining an accurate representation of the product.

• Create product-specific promotional materials based on actual product specifications.

E. Photography & Photo Editing

• Assist in product photography whenever required.

• Edit cake and bakery product photographs for marketing and online platforms.

• Remove backgrounds, adjust lighting, crop images and prepare product images in required formats.

• Maintain an organised library of product photographs and design assets.

F. Store & Franchise Support

• Prepare promotional creatives for Cakermon stores and franchise outlets.

• Design store posters, offer boards, standees and promotional materials.

• Provide timely artwork support for store-level marketing activities.

• Make corrections or modifications in existing creatives based on management requirements.

G. Internal Communication

• Design employee notices, certificates, invitations, event posters and internal communication materials.

• Prepare creatives for company events, employee engagement activities and celebrations.

• Support HR/Admin with professional designs for official communication when required.

4. Software Skills

The candidate should have working knowledge of:

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• CorelDRAW

• Canva

• Adobe InDesign – preferred

• Basic video/reel editing tools – preferred

5. Required Skills

• Strong creativity and visual sense.

• Good knowledge of typography, colours and layouts.

• Good understanding of branding and promotional design.

• Ability to create attractive food and bakery product creatives.

• Good photo-editing and image-retouching skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple design requirements simultaneously.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to understand instructions and make revisions quickly.

6. Educational Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related field.

• Relevant experience in graphic designing, preferably in Food, Bakery, FMCG, Retail or E-commerce.

7. Experience

Preferred Experience: 1–4 years in Graphic Design.

Candidates with strong portfolios and relevant practical skills may also be considered.

9. Important Requirement

The Graphic Designer must maintain confidentiality of company designs, product concepts, packaging artwork, promotional plans and other business-related creative materials and should not share company artwork or product information externally without management approval.

• It is a Full Time Graphic / Web Designer job for candidates with 4 - 5 years of experience.
